Hailing from Brantford, Saskatchewan, Mutt is a mixed-breed marvel with a love for music as big as the prairies he grew up in. Known for his cool demeanor and soulful playing, Mutt can make any song swing, sway, or stomp. He’s also a loyal bandmate, always ready with a wag of his tail and a steady beat. Whether plucking a jazzy riff or laying down a funky groove, Mutt Jefferson proves that when it comes to bass, he’s top dog!
Leora Cashe has been sharing her joy of music with children for close to twenty years! As a Gymboree teacher, then as a teacher at the prestigious Music House for Children in London, England, and now with her many Music for Young Children students in Delta, BC, Miss Leora has started hundreds of new friends down the happy road of music learning.
This well loved Vancouver singer has released four CDs; her debut recording,“Tears of Joy”, (which received a West Coast Music Awards nomination), “Inspiration” , “My Heart Stood Still” and “Another Side Now ;The Songs of Joni Mitchell”. She is just putting the final touches on her fifth album, a new collection of original songs and arrangements: "Brand New Day".

Jaye Krebs has been a professional musician for over 40 years, playing jazz, country, rock & roll, funk, and a bunch of other kinds of music! He met and fell in love with Leora at music college in Edmonton where he was studying jazz vibraphone and percussion.
For the last 20 years, Jaye has also been busy in the film industry in Canada, Europe and the US, creating visual effects for numerous blockbuster movies and TV shows.
He’s just finishing up his third children’s picture book; “What Was That Noise?”. His first books, "...and it Startled the Cat" and “Kids Have Been Crazy for Thousands of Years” are all available on Amazon and at other bookstores.He and Leora are recording their all-ages music project for release in 2025!

Discovered in a traveling circus from Prague, Gord’s rhythm journey has taken him from samba in Brazil to swing in New Orleans and everything in between. His classical training gives him precision, but his world travels add flair and fire to his playing. Whether it's a laid-back groove or a heart-pounding solo, Gord’s beats tell stories of far-off places and epic adventures. There’s “Feathers” MacGurkin, a high-flying fiddler and mandolin whiz from Smithers, BC; Gord Grrrovski, the bluesy drum and banjo expert with a heart of gold; and Mutt Jefferson, the bass boss, laying down grooves on bass, horns and more.

"Feathers" MacGurkin
"Feathers" MacGurkin is a musical marvel from Smithers, BC, where his mom sang with the famous Fowellphonic Orchestra. Inspired by her, Feathers picked up a tiny mandolin and never looked back! Now, he’s a multi-instrumentalist, playing fiddle, mandolin, and guitar with Groovetoon Market. Known for his catchy solos and upbeat rhythms, Feathers' music is as bright as his feathers. A curious daydreamer, he loves experimenting with new sounds and finding melodies in nature. When he’s not on stage, he hikes the hills for inspiration. With wings full of rhythm, Feathers MacGurkin proves that life’s better with a bit of groove!
