Fronting the group is Nanna,  also known as celebrated vocalist Leora Cashe, whose rich, expressive voice and magnetic stage presence have made her a beloved figure in both jazz and children’s music communities. With over 25 years of experience teaching and performing for young audiences, from Gymboree music classes Vancouver, BC to renowned Music House for Children in London, England to her thriving Music for Young Children studio in Delta, BC, Leora brings a rare combination of vocal excellence, warmth, and connection to her audience. Influenced by folk, jazz, R&B, and gospel, her performances glow with authenticity and soul.

Band leader Jaye Krebs, affectionately known as Obo (named by his grandchildren), is a musician, storyteller, visual artist, and Emmy-winning film industry visual effects artist. With more than four decades of professional experience spanning jazz, country, rock & roll, funk, and gospel, Jaye brings both musical depth and playful creativity to the project. His passion for cartooning, lyric writing, and animation launched Nanna & Obo, and he is currently completing his fifth story-song picture book, 60 Million Years. Onstage, his tasteful, imaginative piano work provides the perfect foil to Leora’s dynamic vocals.

Together, Nanna & Obo create a show that is heartfelt, groovy and irresistibly fun, showcasing a seamless blend of musicianship, humour, and storytelling.
